While looking at Twitter, I came across a post Build Site Color Schemes from Photography. The site mentioned a new tool PHOTOCOPA which is the latest color palette tool from Colourlovers that helps you find color inspiration in photographs. You can either choose one of your own photos or try Flickr for inspirational photos. I did a search on Flickr for wildflowers and came up with a large selection of images that could be used.

Since I prefer to use my own photographs as part of the page layout, I thought I would give the tool a try. Go to http://www.colourlovers.com/photocopa where you will see a picture and color scheme. Click the Photos Tab and enter the url of your own photo. Click Load Photo and your image will be uploaded with a color palette displayed.
Play around with the tool to see what color palette you can come up with. Read Build Site Color Schemes from Photography and see some of the sample layouts and color schemes created.
