I have installed all versions of Expression Web on computers with Win XP, Win Vista, and Win 7 and have very seldom had the program crash. If and when it does, I run Steve Easton’s FP Cleaner – which I can not recommend highly enough – and it fixes any problems. Make sure you download the correct version for your EW program. If you paid $150 for the software, you paid too much because the upgrade version which is identical to the full version is only $79. And almost anyone can qualify for the upgrade version.

Licensed users of the following products are eligible to upgrade:

Any Microsoft® Expression product
Any Adobe Creative Suite product
Any Microsoft Office product

I bought this program and its been nothing but A PAIN !
It crashes all the time ! And then some. I have even put it on a Xp PC and still
does the same thing ! WOW MS Are you kidding me ! What a wast of $150.00
And It sounds to me they are well aware of these problems and I see No fix
Coming any time soon.

I’m sorry in my version of EW4 there is no English UK option. (Presumably no dictionary) I know one is not supposed to speak ill of the great god Microsoft but I feel really let down.

Awesome list here. Having backup as number one on your list is something that I definitely approve of. I don’t think everyone realizes how important backups are nowadays, especially with internet crimes at an all-time high. It’s only safe to back up all our files consistently.

Anyway, overall great list of plugins.

Normally it’s just Ctrl + Shift + del, then the options come out. But if that doesn’t work, check the settings of the browser usually under “privacy” or if you’re using Chrome it’s on “under the hood”.

Not sure what you are asking in regards to shapes. Page layouts in Expression Web 4 can be found under Site > New Site > Templates > select the one you want to work with. You can add more templates to those offered by EW by downloading those available from Expression Web Site Templates. Complete instructions for using the templates are within the page.

For many years I used the old Frontpage version for creating and uploading my website.
I got used to certain “shapes” and page layouts that I do not find in Expression 4

Can you help me to find the shapes? rectangular,oval.. etc.
